For my third photo Monday, I decided to do emphasis. Emphasis is when something in a photo is emphasized above other photos. Below is my best photo unedited and edited, followed by my 9 other best. For my third photo assignment I decided to do emphasis. This was a bit of a hard photo Monday, due to the fact that it had been raining all weekend, and there was not much light. So because of this, I decided to use it to my advantage and use an umbrella in the rain to demonstrate emphasis. I also used a light in a low light setting to get the wire inside the bulb to be bright but not so much to the point where you could not see them. I enjoyed this assignment regardless of the struggles I faced, and will use this experience for future assignments.

For this assignment we had to find something that was different from each other, but similar in nature, and we had to take 9 collective photos of the thing, we also had to make two of these typologies. We then had to photoshop them into a 3 by nine frame, Here are the photos I took for this assignment. I really enjoyed this assignment, because it was fun to learn more photoshop techniques that I will be able to use in the future. I did not really find this assignment difficult but rather fun, it was interesting to see what object I could use for the subject. Overall this was a very enjoyable assignment, and I look forward to learning more in the subject of photoshops, and the different techniques used in it.
For our second photo Monday I chose to do Macro. The reason for doing so is that I have always enjoyed taking macro photos in the past. And because I was given the opportunity to choose my own principle of design I decided to choose my favorite. Below you will find my best taken photo with and without a frame, as well as my next ten best. I really enjoyed this assignment because macro has always been my favorite of all the design principles, and it is very interesting to see what I can use for macro. I did not really have any troubles other than the fact that some of the subjects I wanted to use were not very pleasing to the eye, so I had to look for other things I could use. I am especially proud of my favorite photo, because I had always wanted to do an eye macro photo, But I never got the chance to do so. So this assignment was a way of being able to do that.
For this assignment we had to take five photos of any kind of space, then overlap them on photoshop. To take Panoramic's you need to use a tripod, otherwise you may mess up when trying to overlap them. Below are a few of the attempts at trying to overlap photos to create a panoramic. I really enjoyed this assignment, because Panoramic was one of my favorite assignments we did back in Digital 1. And I really enjoyed creating better ones than the ones I had done before. However it was difficult to find a flat enough surface as you can see in the fourth photo, the land scape curved down to the left and left an awkward looking panoramic. Despite this I really enjoyed this assignment, and look forward to making more panoramic's in the future.
For our second assignment we were tasked with putting photos into photoshop, (either old or new ones) and had to put frames around them. The four different frame types we had to use are lasso frame, spray frame, gallery frame, and the gaussian blur frame. Below you will find the photos I used to make frames for on this assignment. From left to right is my favorite versus my least favorite. However on the second day I managed to get six frames done, because I had looked at the instructions and re read them a bit so I could remember how to do it. They may not look the greatest, but I am proud of them, because last year photoshop was not my strong suit, however this year I feel like I am finally starting to get the grasp of it.
